This outfit is so not my usual style but I'm actually loving it.  I thought it may be a little OTT pairing a ruffle sleeved jumper with a ruffled skirt but I actually love the shape it creates and think it works really well together.  I also love the colour combo of pink and grey, I think they really compliment each other.

As always I'm a little unsure on sizing when it comes to shopping online so always err on the side of caution and go for a larger size.  I'm a size 10 so decided to go for a large in the skirt but could've probably ordered a medium.  It is quite large around the waist but I was able to cinch it in using a belt, which I actually quite like the look of, so this wasn't too much of a problem.  The jumper however is a one size fits all, which I would say would fit a size 12 maximum.  Like I said before I'm a size 10 and it has a slightly loose fit on me, so would probably be more fitted on a size 12 and a more oversized fit on a size 8.  I'm not really the biggest fan of the one size fits all, but this jumper actually worked out quite well for me.  I have had a few things from Rosegal before and am always pleasantly surprised by the quality, which was the case again with this skirt and jumper.  They both feel really good quality and are nice and thick to keep me warm in this horrible cold weather.

Playsuit - Asos

These photos were actually taken a little while ago before the real cold weather set in and I completely forgot about them.  I wanted to share them though as I loved this playsuit when I saw it in the Asos sale and am a little sad that I only got chance to wear it once before it started getting a bit too cold for bare legs.  

This got me to thinking are playsuits really just for summer?  Playsuits are a style I really love but tend to avoid in the winter.  I like to get all wrapped up cosy and warm.  This means a lot of my clothes sit in the wardrobe the majority of the time though, and since buying my own house I have been a little strapped for cash when it comes to clothes shopping.  So, my mission this winter is to find a way to make use of my wardrobe and find a way to adapt the clothes I already have into my winter wardrobe.  I still haven't figured out how I am going to do that with this playsuit yet though.  I don't think black tights would work due to the lighter colours.  But I think layering it over a polo neck or pairing it with a chunky knit might work.  If I wore these in black then I might just be able to tie in the black tights and a pair of black boots, and it just might work.  We will see...

After trying to find the links to these items I've just found that the playsuit is even less in the sale now and is still in stock in all sizes and the boots are now reduced too.  The playsuit is now only £10,  I think it was around £15 when I bought it.  The boots I was actually lucky enough to win on Instagram but they have been reduced online to £13.  I have been seeing white boots everywhere recently and I love this little kitten heeled pair, they are perfect for daytime and are super comfortable too.

I'm a little sad to admit that summer is finally over and autumn is well on it's way, but I'm not quite ready to say goodbye yet so I thought I'd share what will probably be my final outfit of the summer.  Deep down I'm praying for a few more warmer days and those last few rays of sunshine as I have a playsuit that I bought in the Asos sale that I haven't even had chance to wear yet.  There's a few warmer days forecast for next week, so I have my fingers crossed, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I just love how girly the summer makes me feel, being able to swish around in pretty dresses and skirts like this one.  I've actually had this skirt a few years now but I still love it and only ever tend to wear it in summer.  However, as I'm cutting down on my shopping and wardrobe, this year I'm determined to find a way to transition it into my winter wardrobe and get more wear out of it.  For summer though, as it's high waisted, I like to pair it with a nice little crop top and heeled sandals or some pretty little flats.  I actually got these lovely silver flats from New Look in the sale for £7!  I just love the beautiful beading on them and the vintage feel they have to them.  They really complete the "ladylike" look of this women's skirt.

Now you must know by now that I love anything Disney, so I am totally obsessed with Boohoo's new Disney range which is available online now.  It is all super affordable too, with the most expensive item being the denim jacket which at £30 still isn't really that expensive.  I'm in love with pretty much the whole collection but the above are my top picks which I think I would get the most wear out of, especially the jeans.  The crop top and shorts set is probably the least wearable to me, but I still love it and would definitely love to rock this outfit for a yoga or HIIT session.  I am also loving this swimsuit and jumper from the collection.

Jumpsuit - Asos

I had a £20 voucher for Asos leftover from my birthday, which was all the way back in April, how I managed to go that long without spending it I have no idea!  Anyway when I saw that the sale had started I thought I'd have a look through and see what I could get with my voucher.  There were a few dresses that I liked but it was this jumpsuit that really caught my eye.  It looked perfect for all the sunny weather that we were having, which has disappeared slightly now, and I knew I'd find a way to transition it into my autumn wardrobe.  The best part; it's reduced from £35 to £14, less than half price!

Unfortunately the sun seemed to have disappeared by the time my Asos order arrived, so it was a little chilly to wear on it's own.  So I tried layering it over a simple black tee and I actually quite like it.  It adds a little more contrast and makes the black floral print pop out that little bit more.  This is what I love about jumpsuits, they are so easy to wear but just make it look like you've put that little bit more effort in than you actually have.  It's also super comfy and how cute are those little tassels on the bottom?

I also bought a playsuit in the Asos sale, so I am hoping the sun makes a reappearance before the end of summer (especially as I am going on holiday next week) and I get to wear it.  Did you pick up any bargains in the Asos summer sale?

Dress - Zaful

This lovely red dress from Zaful is absolutely perfect for this gorgeous summer heat but it is way out of my comfort zone.  As much as I love the style of this dress, which is what tempted me to give it a try, it is a lot more revealing than what I am used to wearing.  As someone who is a little *ahem* bigger busted it is not really something that I like to draw attention to or show too much cleavage.  However when I put this dress on I really loved it, so I've decided that it's time to take a step outside of my comfort zone!  This is something that can be really hard sometimes, especially for someone who already has anxiety and is worried about being judged, but it's something we must all try and do. I am always trying to work on my confidence and self-esteem and this is something I have discovered that I can never achieve if I don't step outside of my comfort zone.  This very often takes a lot of deep breaths, self-talking and anxiousness but more often than not the confidence you gain afterwards is 100% worth it.  This is something that can take time and may not always be successful, something I have experienced many times, but I try my hardest not to dwell on it and try again.  Something I've learnt is that ruminating does not have any benefits and no matter how much you think on it, it can't be changed.  This is something I've always struggled with when it comes to picking outfits since I developed anxiety.  I would always worry about how much I would stand out, if people would be looking at me or commenting on what I was wearing.  It's now time for me to get out that comfort zone though and pick out what I want to wear and not outfits that will help me blend in.

To many people this dress may not seem very out there, but as someone with a mainly monochrome wardrobe this red is a stand out colour for me.  The biggest thing for me however is going braless, that is something I very rarely (or never) do!  This dress is definitely not one you can wear a bra with, which is way out of my comfort zone, but the dress is so nicely made and good enough quality to give me the support I need.  It is also so comfortable to wear, especially in this heat.  I wouldn't say I feel 100% confident in it yet, but I'm hoping the more I wear it the more confident I will feel in it.

If you read my last post you will have seen that I had my eye on some beautiful summer pieces from Zaful.  One of my favourites was this bardot striped dress, I just love the pretty colours and the button up front.  The one thing I love about Zaful is that everything I've had from there seems to be amazing quality for the price.  This dress comes in at £19.40 but feels like something you'd easily pay twice the price for at somewhere like Topshop or Zara, where I've seen may of these button up style dresses.  It is made of a lovely light cheesecloth type material and even has a lining in the skirt, so it doesn't look cheap at all.  One of my main worries when ordering online from stores like this is the fit, but I ordered a size M (I'm a size 10) and it fits perfectly.  I think the fit and style of this dress is so flattering.  I'm just praying that the sun sticks around so that I can get plenty of wear out of it.

If you are a follower of my blog you will have already read that I have really been suffering with hay fever recently but I finally seemed to have found the right combination of tablets, eyedrops and nose spray, making it a lot more manageable and enabling me to get out and enjoy the glorious sunshine a bit more.  However, this has lead me to realise how small my summer wardrobe actually is, as we don't usually get this much consistent sunshine here in England so I don't really have the need for many summer clothes.  As a result I am now lusting after a new summer wardrobe full of little summer dresses.  This is where Zaful comes to the rescue.

Dress - New Look

How pretty is this dress?!  I was a little unsure whether to share this outfit on the blog or not as I actually bought this dress in the sale last year for just £12, but never had weather nice enough to wear it after I bought it.  So it has been tucked away in the wardrobe whilst I have been praying for a sunnier summer and my prayers have been answered with all this beautiful sunshine we've had recently.  I have been so happy to finally get to wear it as I love the colour and the frill details which give it such a pretty feminine feel.  So even though it's from last year I have been wearing it as much as I can and just had to share it on the blog as it just seemed too pretty to go unnoticed.

The frill detail on the neckline is just so pretty and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't accentuate my chest, as I tend to avoid frills and ruffles around this area for this reason.  However, I think this neckline is actually really flattering and the low cut frilled back looks really pretty too.  Even though this dress is no longer available they do have a very similar dress in the sale right now that has the exact same neckline but is a maxi rather than a midi, which I'll just leave a little link for here just in case you love it as much as I do.  

For now though it's back to the garden in my bikini to soak up as much of this sun as I can before it disappears again.  All I need now is a pool and a cocktail and if I close my eyes and imagine hard enough I could even fool myself into thinking I was on holiday, ha ha.
