I found this beauty palette in the sale section of the beauty products in TK Maxx a few weeks ago. I was initially drawn to it by the pretty packaging, but when I saw the eye shadow colours and price tag, which was a mere £7, I thought why not?!
When it comes to colour on my eyes I'm not very brave and tend to opt for neutral colours. So when I saw these pastel colours I thought they would be great for adding a bit of colour, but as they aren't too bright it won't be so much of a drastic change for me. I especially love the pale pink and lilac tones. The only problem I have with these eye shadows is that they're not very pigmented, which I thought was fine because then I could build them up to the colour I wanted, but it turns out that quite a lot of shadow and effort is needed to build up any kind of colour.
These are the four blushers in the palette. My favourites are the top one and the pink one second from the bottom. The top one is a sheer pink blusher with a bit of sparkle (which hasn't photographed very well), so I tend to put it over the pink blush to add a bit of sparkle and highlight the top of my cheekbones. Again though, these blushers are not very pigmented and need a bit of building up.
The palette also contains these face powders and lip glosses, which I have only swatched but not used. The lip glosses are pretty translucent like lip balms just not as moisturising.
All in all I am pretty disappointed with this beauty palette, as I already own a few Technic products I was expecting more from it. Colour wise this palette is perfect, it has some gorgeous colours which are very let down by the lack of pigmentation.
