This outfit is so not my usual style but I'm actually loving it. I thought it may be a little OTT pairing a ruffle sleeved jumper with a ruffled skirt but I actually love the shape it creates and think it works really well together. I also love the colour combo of pink and grey, I think they really compliment each other.
As always I'm a little unsure on sizing when it comes to shopping online so always err on the side of caution and go for a larger size. I'm a size 10 so decided to go for a large in the skirt but could've probably ordered a medium. It is quite large around the waist but I was able to cinch it in using a belt, which I actually quite like the look of, so this wasn't too much of a problem. The jumper however is a one size fits all, which I would say would fit a size 12 maximum. Like I said before I'm a size 10 and it has a slightly loose fit on me, so would probably be more fitted on a size 12 and a more oversized fit on a size 8. I'm not really the biggest fan of the one size fits all, but this jumper actually worked out quite well for me. I have had a few things from Rosegal before and am always pleasantly surprised by the quality, which was the case again with this skirt and jumper. They both feel really good quality and are nice and thick to keep me warm in this horrible cold weather.
What do you think about ruffles? Too much or never enough?
