Hay Fever Hibernation
14:40
Up until a few years ago I had never once suffered from hay fever and then it just popped up out of nowhere. I still love summer despite the stuffy nose and itchy eyes it now brings along with it, but it doesn't make blogging an easy task. I love being able to do these outfit posts outside in the sunshine but within seconds the sneezing fits begin and my eyes start to stream. I have tried every type of hay fever medication but to no avail, so sadly for every day I spend outside I spend three hauled up indoors waiting for my symptoms to become bearable again. It's such a pain but I refuse to let it ruin my summer and will try to do blog photos whenever my eyes are not an unattractive red puffy mess.
Dress - Primark
Shoes - Marks & Spencer
I really like the monochrome print on this dress, as monochrome has to be one of my favourite trends, but I'm not so sure about the style and whether it suits me. It was one of those visits to Primark where the queue at the changing rooms is so long I could probably have driven all the way back home tried it on and returned it before I would've even made it to the front of the queue. So, as it was only £10 I decided to just get it and after wearing it I'm still not 100% sure on it but it is super comfy, especially for a bodycon dress.
The shoes were a surprise bargain purchase that I made a couple of years ago that I completely forgot about and haven't worn in a long while. I'm sure I'm not the only one that stereotypically thinks that Marks & Spencer's is where my nan and her friends go for their version of retail therapy. The only time I ever venture into my local store is to take a short cut out of the back of the store and it was whilst I was doing this that I spotted these shoes out of the corner of my eye on the sale shelf. After a double take to see if my eyes were deceiving me, I saw that they were only £5, so how could I leave them on the shelf to go homeless?

If you do go a little puffy from the hay fever, at least you'll get a pop of colour into this outfit. Okay, my optimism is a bit twisted.
