This weeks Friday Favourites is of course a round up of my favourite shows from Milan Fashion Week (see my New York one here and my London one here).  You can normally count on Milan fashion week to bring all the colour and fun in their shows, and whilst there were plenty of colourful and crazy collections (I'm looking at you Moschino) my favourites were the most feminine collections that were full of pretty lace and frills.  My two absolute favourites being Luisa Beccaria and Etro, their dresses were all just so dreamy.

Which was your favourite show from Milan Fashion Week?

Following on from my Friday Favourites last week this weeks post is a round up of all my favourites from London Fashion Week.  This one was tough to narrow down as there were a lot of great collections at London Fashion Week but my favourite of them all had to be Temperley.  To say all of these collections are for next summer, Temperley's is the first that has really given me that summer feeling.

As London Fashion Week kicks off I thought I'd do a little round up of my favourite shows and trends seen on the catwalk this past week at New York Fashion week.

Reem Acra

This beautiful collection had me dreaming of an indian summer with it's bright shades and gold details in silky fabrics.

Mara Hoffman

There was a real outdoors-y feel to Mara Hoffman's Spring/Summer 16 collection with pieces adorned with flowers, birds and rainbows but my favourite of them all was this cloud print.

Pretty pastel peach... need I say more?!

Betsey Johnson

I'd never be quite daring enough to wear anything like this but I always love Betsey Johnson shows and designs, they're just so much fun.  This collection was no different with it's rainbow of tutus.

Black and white was a recurring theme on the catwalks at New York Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 16.  I for one am very happy about this as I could live in monochrome.  I love the relaxed tailoring at Givenchy mixed with pretty feminine lace and Marchesa is always one of my favourites, they're dresses are always so beautiful.

Zimmermann

My top show of all from New York Fashion Week has to be Zimmermann.  I instantly fell in love with the victorian style of their pieces with high necks and lots of frills in pretty florals and lace.  Out of all the collections this was the one I wanted to instantly fill my wardrobe with, starting with that little dusky pink mini dress.
