This week Alexa Chung was crowned Britain's most stylish at the British Fashion Awards, and here's why...
When it comes to Alexa Chung I have a slight love/hate relationship, she is not my favourite person, but even so it is plain for all to see she has killer style and has definitely earnt her British Style Award. She has every look down, from classic and ladylike to perfect androgyny. I would happily share her wardrobe any day of the week.
I always love to have something that is a little unique, so have dabbled in some jewellery making for myself before. I love it so much as it is something I enjoy and allows me to be creative, and is something I would love to do more often. This is why I have decided to branch out and not only make jewellery for myself but for others too, hopefully that will sell so the money can be reinvested to create a larger collection. I have started out with a couple of simple pairs of earrings. One is a simple pair of Antique Gold style Bird/Swallow earrings, and the other a Parisian Chic style Antique Gold Oui/Non pair of earrings with hand stitched Navy bows...
I have made 6 pairs of each but have listed one of each for sale on ebay to see how much interest they gain. If you are interested click the links below to bid:

So please take a look if you want to treat yourself, or they will also make a great Xmas gift. Even if your not interested in buying them leave a comment and let me know what you think :)
Thanks
Well winter is definitely here! Flu season is in full swing, which is the cause of my lack of posts here in the last few weeks. I have had quite a nasty dose and have been on bed rest, then just as I am getting the better the snow has arrived. I love the snow and it is giving me that Christmas feeling... sledging, snowball fights, lights and log fires :) But as usual the UK is unable to cope with the drastic change in weather, the whole country has practically shut down with public transport being cancelled and roads being closed, and we are more or less house bound. On the up side this has left me with plenty of time for a little online shopping to prepare myself for the rest of the winter season. Fur coats are everywhere this season and this snow has definitely left me wanting a big warm coat. Alongside this I have been on the hunt for a chunky aran knit cardigan and love this Olive coloured one from Motel. So I have ordered this alongside this Faux Fur coat, now I just have my fingers crossed they will be able to get through this snow.
I know this is my third post about the Lanvin for H&M collection and it hasn't even hit the stores yet, but in case you hadn't guessed it I am loving this line. Having collaborated with great designers such as Jimmy Choo, Stella McCartney and Matthew Williamson H&M are always changing it up a gear, and this new collaboration with Lanvin is their greatest so far. I especially love the way they have decided to showcase the collection online...
With the Harry Potter series drawing to a close it looks like Emma Watson is stepping out of Hermione Granger's shoes and into a much more stylish pair. Yes she's worn nice dresses to previous premieres, but it wasn't until last night's premiere that I saw her as a true stylista. She wowed me with her pixie crop, black lace and feather Rafael Lopez dress and Charlotte Olympia platforms.

Last week Topshop launched their final Kate Moss for Topshop collection. Although a great fan of Kate Moss and her collections for Topshop to me they had started to become a bit repetitive. Each collection began to feature variations of the same item and details, from maxi and tea dresses to fringing. Whilst I do still love these garments something fresh would've grabbed my attention a little more. Having said that Kate Moss for Topshop is bowing out with a great final collection, I especially love the rings that were added to this collection. Here are my favourites...
1. Star Circle Ring - £30
2. Multi Godet Maxi Dress - £250
3. Iconic Fringe Jacket - £80
4. Glitter Velvet Playsuit - £90
5. Tiered Ruffle Maxi Dress - £175
6. Oval Sparkle Stone Ring - £30
7. Iconic Heavy Beaded Dress - £130
8. Daisy Spot Chiffon Dress - £75
9. Velvet and Lace Shorts - £60
All available from Topshop

I am yet to discover this! I am packing for my cousin's wedding in Cyprus and I always pack too much, yet knowing this I am still trying to squeeze things into my case and find a way to make things fit instead of trying to narrow down my holiday wardrobe. Then after all that, and my case practically containing everything but the kitchen sink, I usually get there and discover I have forgotten something. Surely I am not the only who does this? There has to be a solution that makes packing easier and a tad less stressful. If anyone has the answer to this, and knows the art of packing, please feel free to share it would be greatly appreciated. :)
Just to tease us a little bit more this shot from Lanvin for H&M's highly anticipated collection has just been leaked. I am loving the little black ruffle number worn by Natasha Poly on the far right. Now I wait with baited breath for the full collection to be showcased online on the 2nd November, before hitting the shops and online store on the 23rd November.
Just another reason why I love Chanel! If this dress was described to me... nude... backless... cut-out sides... dripping with pearls... I would think cheap, tacky and a little tasteless, but Chanel has managed to turn all of these things into a stunning, and might I even add classy, couture dress. It is everything I would never wear, so I even surprised myself when I was dying for it the moment I saw it. I don't know how Chanel does it, but they can turn anything into pure class.
