Birthday Presents (And An E.L.F Prize)

13:35

First of all I'd like to say hi to all my new followers, I appreciate each and every single one of you and your lovely comments never fail to put a smile on my face.  I would also like to say thank you for all your wonderful Birthday Wishes on my last post.  I've been meaning to do this post all week but I've been a bit busy spending my birthday money (haul post coming soon), seeing friends and family that couldn't make it on my birthday and having a little photo shoot with Riley, which I will show you in another post soon.  Now onto the exciting stuff... my presents!

This one wasn't really a present but a prize I won on the Distribeauty Warehouse Team's facebook page and as it was only a few days before my Birthday I classed it as an early Birthday present.  They are the wonderful team who package and hip E.L.F products and are always having great giveaways so, if you don't already, click the link and like their page.  Here's what I won...
I will do a proper review on these products soon as I haven't used them all yet, but I already love the pale pink Super Glossy Lip Gloss on the far left in the box and the Minty Lip Gloss.  I also love the eye shadows, they apply very nicely and give a great colour.

I think it's safe to say that I'm going to love any book that is fashion related and was really happy when I opened these.  The Style Me Vintage books are full of great tutorials for hair, make up and clothes from each decade.  I can't wait to try them out.  I also got this great Style Diaries book from my friend, which I'm surprised that I haven't stumbled across before.  It is full of the world's greatest bloggers and their web addresses, can't wait to work my way through the book and check them all out.

I got this Tigi Bed Head Colour Goddess shampoo and conditioner from my friend who says its wonderful.  I haven't tried it yet but it smells delicious.  She also bought me the the bangles and the black and gold necklace, which I love.  Then another friend got me this gorgeous vintage clock necklace, it's beautiful and has is a working clock but the battery has run out.  I've looked all over it to try and find where the battery goes but can't find an opening anywhere.  I would love to get it back in full working order again but don't want to damage it, so if any of you have anything similar that you have put a new battery in let me know how you did it.

The yummy chocolate I got along with a nice amount of Birthday money that I used to treat myself on a little shopping spree this week.

Then finally, I also got this shiny new laptop from my parents, which I can't remember if I've mentioned before, but I actually got it about a month ago.

Not the best pictures of it but if you want a proper look you can see all the details here.  It's not an all singing all dancing laptop but has everything I need: HD display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a good sized memory, 3 USB ports and an SD slot.  An added bonus is that it has beatsaudio which makes it great for listening to music whilst I'm browsing the internet and blogging.  The thing I found most appealing is how compact and lightweight it is making it really easy to carry around with me.  One drawback is that it doesn't have a disc drive but to be honest I put most things on a USB so I don't miss it too much, only when I'm travelling or away and want to watch a dvd.

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.
