I finally got to take some outfit pictures when we got a rare glimpse of sunshine after all the rain.  I have recently picked up a few summer bits and here I am wearing two of my favourites.  I tend to live in black jeans so I thought I should get a paler pair for the summer and was happy to find this pair in the petite section of Topshop.  I know you short girls hear me, like jeans with a good fit aren't hard enough to find we also have the dilemma of searching for shorter lengths.  Although I don't mind the look of turned up hems it is nice to finally have a pair that I don't have to turn up every time I wear them.

The top is a pretty little find from Primark last week and it was only £10.  I think it's so nice and summery and love the on trend mix of the pretty flowers and stripes.  I'm loving clashing patterns like this at the moment.  I ordered these trousers from Boohoo as I love the pattern but unfortunately I am going to have to send them back as they are not the best quality and feel more like I'm wearing leggings than trousers, which I'm not a fan of.  Now I'm just hoping the sun sticks around for a while so I can get the wear out of this top and some of my other new summer buys.
