It's So Fluffy!

Yes, the title of this post may be from a kid's film but who doesn't love Despicable Me?!  But this is the first sentence that came to mind when I felt this jumper.  Plus it was in the kids section of Matalan, so it was obviously appealing to the big kid inside of me.  I always tend to have a little look in the kids section now as it is a lot more fashion forward than when I was a kid and their age 16 clothes easily fit a size 8-10.  I also tend to find that the kids sections in places like Matalan, New Look and River Island have replicas of items from the adult section but with a slightly lower price tag, so it is worth a look if you are on the petite side.  This jumper was a bargain £14, and I just love it!  What can I say, I'm a sucker for a monochrome print.  It's also so fluffy and super soft, and surprisingly enough seems to remain so after two washes.  I always worry that when I wash jumpers and cardigans like this that they will loose their oomph, which tends to be the case more often than not with soft fluffy knits like this.  This one seems to be holding up well though and I can see myself keeping cosy in this a lot over the winter months.

    I've started religiously checking the kids sections and totally agree, I can wear a lot of age 14-15 tops and I'm a tall size 10! so doesn't matter at all. I also find the accessories are just cuter and cheaper in the kids sections. What a cute jumper as well - been meaning to find a fluffy jumper now the winter is upon us again! XX
