Dazzle Dust Nails
22:17I've seen a few people do these nails so I thought I'd give it a try. (I'm really sorry I haven't credited anybody for them but I honestly can't remember where I saw them! I'm so rubbish!)
I used Barry M nail paint in Navy and Barry M Dazzle Dust. I don't know exactly what the colour is because I've had it that long it's rubbed off, but it's kind of an ice blue colour.
It's so simple to do, anybody can do it. First paint your nails in your selected colour, then put a spot of dazzle dust just below your cuticle and blow it onto the nail before it drys. The effect you get depends on how much dust you use, so you just have to experiment to see how much you like. I would recommend starting with a smaller amount though, as you can always add more if you want. Then once you've finished apply a top coat keep them looking perfect and add a bit of shine.
Here's the results...
They sparkle so nicely in the light.
I have also been very naughty this week and not really stuck to my shopping ban, but I just can't resist a bargain! Here are a few of the goodies I got...
Sunglasses £1 - New Look
Take A Brow £2 - Primark
Socks £2.50 - Matalan
I've heard a few good things about this Take A Brow eyebrow kit, so when I saw it in the sale at Primark for £2 I thought I'd give it a try. I'll let you know how I get on with it when I use it.
I also got this snake ring from Primark in the sale for £1. I saw loads and loads that I could've bought in Primark but as I am supposedly on a shopping ban I was good and only bought a sheer maxi skirt, which was in the sale for £5. I will do an outfit post for it soon.
What bargains have you picked up lately?

Thanks for the comment on my HP post! I agree with you, i think Emma will do well for herself too, but possibly in the fashion world rather than in acting. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who didn't like the epilogue! x

ReplyDeleteI am so bad with any nail crafty ideas, however this one looks easy to do. I will try it out. I have been seeing solid colors & glitter just on tips, & they go down alil' love that. I wanna try that. I guess I need to get MAC pigment, or just plain on glitter. & I am totally in love with your snake ring, GORGEOUS!
