New York Fashion Week: Day 1

Here are a few of my favourites from the first day of New York Fashion Week...

These looks are from Ruffian's Spring/Summer 2011 collection, whose show consisted of a lot of white tailoring teamed with blue satin, which gave the looks a great pop of colour. There was also a hint of military to the collection too with this khaki colour and the detailing on the jackets.

These looks are all from Christian Siriano's Spring/Summer 2011 collection, and I have to say his show was my favourite of the day. There was also lots of white tailoring but this time teamed with tan leather which gives me just a hint of safari. The showstopper though were these magnificent couture style dresses, they're just so fabulous and extravagant that they're bound to catch anyone's eye.

These stunning dresses are from Indonesian designer Farah Angsana's Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The whole collection was made up mainly of fabulous dresses, but these emerald green ones are my favourites, the colour is just gorgeous.
